Our mission is to change places and change lives. We change places every year through on-the-ground, tangible improvements to communities and neighborhoods. We line streets with trees, create gardens on empty lots, remove graffiti and paint murals, and improve parks and playgrounds. We also leverage community resources by coordinating collaborative projects. Our Saw Mill River Coalition involves public agencies, schools, nonprofits, and homeowners throughout the river's watershed in Westchester County.

We are North America’s Neighborhood Union—1.3 million members standing together to improve the lives and livelihoods of workers, families, and communities.

Adalah-NY: The Coalition for Justice in the Middle East is a grassroots strategic alliance of concerned organizations and individuals in New York, formed to demand an immediate, unconditional, and permanent end to U.S. and U.S.-sponsored Israeli aggression in the Middle East. In response to the continuing injustices committed by the U.S. and Israel, which constitute gross violations of international law, Adalah-NY stands with the people of the Middle East in their demands for justice, equality, democracy, and respect for human rights.

16 Nancy Tsou, Rockland Peace and Justice Coalition
The Rockland Coalition for Peace and Justice is an ad-hoc community group comprised of individuals from all walks of life. The Coalition originated in the fall of 2002 on the eve of the invasion of Iraq in order to provide a forum for opposition to the policies of the war makers and a meeting place for like-minded people.
17 No War Westchester
NoWar Westchester was formed in 2002 by Westchester residents and organizations opposed to the impending U.S. invasion of Iraq. Since then, we have held a vigil in White Plains every Saturday.

WESPAC Foundation has been the leading force in Westchester County for peace and justice work for over three decades. WESPAC Foundation provides outreach and community to individuals, groups and leaders in civic and religious organizations in greater Westchester who find themselves without a voice or support system for their progressive positions. WESPAC Foundation's purpose is to give a human face to those who would otherwise be unrecognized victims of war, injustice and environmental degradation. WESPAC Foundation connects the people of Westchester with a progressive agenda for the planet and its peoples.

20 Prof. Tracy Basile, WESPAC Friends of Turtle Island
WESPAC Foundation's Solidarity Group With Indigenous Peoples is a gathering of WESPAC members who work together to increase awareness of Indigenous Peoples' ongoing struggles to protect their human and land rights, environment, sacred sites, dignity, language and traditions.
